DEEP PORE CLEANSING FACIAL

The Deep Pore Cleansing Facial is a facial designed for people with acne or extremely oily skin. It works by opening the pores and giving the esthetician greater access to the problems within. The esthetician will use a steam treatment to open up the client’s pores. They will then exfoliate the client’s face to remove all the dead skin cells, dirt and other debris there. Doing so will also give the esthetician a better view of the client’s pores, including those that are smaller and less visible. The esthetician will then extract all of the whiteheads and blackheads. After completing the remaining steps, the esthetician may advise the client on ways to keep the skin clear.

Mechanical or chemical exfoliants are typically used during a Deep Pore Cleansing Facial. During an extraction, the esthetician uses a tool or their hands to remove whiteheads and blackheads. Some of the earlier steps during the facial, like the steam, have loosened the whiteheads and blackheads to make them easier to remove and to make the process of extraction less uncomfortable for the client. The esthetician may use a special type of mask, which is good for people with oily to normal skin. The mask will be allowed to sit on the skin for a set amount of time before it is rinsed off. As a rule of thumb, people should get a Deep Pore Cleansing Facial regularly for optimal results. People with oily or acne-prone skin can get facials more often, providing they don’t also have sensitive skin.

Benefits of Deep Pore Cleansing facial:

  • Reduces Excess Oils: When we think of oily skin, we think of that greasy residue that collects over the day on our faces. It is a natural occurrence and really just means that there is excess oil coming out of your pores after you cleanse your face. Throughout the day, your face will continue to appear shiny. A deep pore cleansing facial helps to cleanse deep into the pores of the skin, reducing the overproduction of oil and leaving your skin feeling matte and oil-free. It is a good idea to get a deep pore cleansing facial is you have excessively oily skin.

  • Clears Clogged Pores, Whiteheads & Blackheads: A deep pore cleansing facial often starts with opening the pores of your skin. Dirt and oil can get trapped in your pores and cause skin irritation and blackheads. To open up your pores and begin extracting the debris, your aesthetician will steam your face for a few minutes. An extracting tool is used to push out any debris, whiteheads, and blackheads that you may have clogged in your pores. Extraction is slightly uncomfortable, But you will get clearer skin and fewer chances of acne if your pores are cleaned occasionally.

  • Hydrates the skin: When treating skin conditions, you don't want to overwhelm the skin with peels and extractions, as the skin might overproduce oil to compensate, leading to even more breakouts. If required by your situation, our esthetician might add some hydration into the mix, like a cooling mask to soothe inflammation.

  • Decreases Facial Acne: After a few of the facial treatments, you may notice your acne is reduced and becomes less noticeable. When your pores are cleaned often, this prevents oil, impurities, and bacteria from forming in these pores and creating small red bumps on the skin.

  • Replenishes and Smooths Out the Skin: Oily skin can be tricky to treat but with the right facial and products, your skin will feel smooth and rejuvenated! A deep pore cleansing facial every 4 weeks is ideal to help control your oil production and keep your pores clean.
